Simply I would like to express myself at this moment. There is always something left unsaid in life, mixed up with confusion and regrets. Through the lens, you are naked in the photographer's point of view. Hazel asked me what my favorite angle is. I just told her to do whatever feels right, it's all up to her. I understand you can't restrict an artist's imagination. Later on, I learned how to appreciate my slim profile. You really don't have to fit others' taste. It's enough to just be yourself. As I browsed those pictures, I thought of the bottle Domaine de Trevallon Vin de Pays des Bouches du Rhone 2000. Winemaker Eloi Durrbach insisted on blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah in equal quantities. To mix a sinewy Cab with a high purity Syrah seemed crazy at the time, but he was willing to give up AOC certification to follow his vision. The result is strong with silky tannin, lots of dark fruits, mineral and spice flavors. It offers a layered sweetness.
It does take confidence and wisdom to follow your instincts when the conditions are ripe, even if they go against the norm. But if you do, life might just provide unexpected fruitful results.
